Through a thoughtful and comprehensive screening process, the Admissions Committee is able to offer a limited number of seats to applicants that would benefit from the program. Scholaris' admissions process is intentionally thorough because we understand that it is a very serious decision to take children out of the mainstream and enroll them in an alternative micro-school.
Criteria for admissions

Average to superior intellectual potential

No behavioral or emotional problems that would interfere with the instructional program
STEP 1
Informational Call
STEP 2
Submit an application
STEP 3
After the application file is submitted, the Admissions Committee will review it.
STEP 4
Some applicants will be invited to visit the School to attend classes and meet with a learning specialist.
STEP 5
The Admissions Committee will review the data within two weeks of the screening and invite the student to shadow a class for the day.
STEP 6
Findings and recommendations are discussed at a parent/guardian conference.

If admission is recommended, a contract is sent.

If enrollment is not recommended, suggestions for other options are discussed at the parent/guardian conference.
